The rocker support was fastened to the stub mandrel with Loctite and machined as shown |

This picture shows the rocker support mounted in a spin index on the vertical mill. Machining was done with the index in both horizontal and vertical positions as needed. Unfortunately, when finished, there was not enough material surrounding one of the the mounting holes. I must have missed a bit when setting up the casting in the lathe. I decided to scrap the bronze part and make one from 12L14 steel bar. |
