Machining the Push Rod Supports

The push rod supports casting was trued up, starting with the end opposite the cast lug. Top surfaces were trued to the as cast bottom surface.  The bottom surface was then trued to the machined top face.   Mounting holes were located and drilled before removing the part from the vise.
The push rod supports have been reinstalled in the vise with the bottom surface facing up.  The Y direction center line was picked up using the drill bit and drilled holes.
The push rod groove was cut before the brackets were separated to help insure proper location of the groove in each bracket.
A groove for the governor lever is added using the slitting saw.
After all features were machned, the push rod supports were separated using the slitting saw.
